Description

"Where were you when I was burned and broken?
While you were hanging yourself on someone else's words.
Dying to believe in what you heard.
I was staring straight... into the shining sun."

"I took a heavenly ride through our silence.
I knew the moment had arrived.
For killing the past and coming back to life..."

EDIT: Added the rainbow trail.
EDIT 2: This got into Equestria Daily too... I am amazed...

I've been awfully inspired by Pink Floyd's music and lyrics. When I listened to "The Wall" I knew I had to continue. This was inspired from the music and lyrics of both of these songs: "Poles Apart" and "Coming Back to Life". I strongly recommend you to listen to them.

I am proud to say that I am getting the hang of painting. I've been able to experiment a lot with many different things. I'm still trying to figure out hair but I think it came out nicely. Rainbow Dash guys, yep, this is Rainbow Dash. I couldn't help it, she's quite the living image of freedom so this had to be done with her XD. And well, I guess even the stronger ones find themselves in difficult situations, so why not explore that with her? Enough blah blah blah then, I'll stop typing now XD. Hope you like it!

"Hey you... did you ever realise what you'd become?
I thought of you and the years and all the sadness fell away from me.
And did you know... I never thought that you'd lose that light in your eyes..."

OMG. Pink Floyd is my favorite band, when I read the title of this artwork I instantly thought of that song without even looking at the description :D That song's on Pulse, and I listened to that one countless times. Also I love Roger Water's stuff and The Wall as well (did you know there has been a reference to The Wall in MLP?)
Anyway, I LOVE this, and the emotion in it. Wonderful work <3 <3
